A change to Claude’s paid plans takes effect today, June 15, 2026. Your monthly fee is not going up. What changes is that usage which used to come out of a single pool splits into two: the part where a person is in a conversation, and the part where a program runs on its own. Starting June 15, 2026, Claude Agent SDK and claude -p usage no longer counts toward your Claude plan’s usage limits.
